Anthony, a community leader, understands his neighbors' needs. With experience as a combat Marine and Director of Operations at the Kane County State's Attorney's Office, he brings invaluable leadership to the Elgin City Council.
Since taking office in 2023, Anthony has been a dedicated advocate for transparency, public health, and community improvements. With the support of his fellow council members, he has championed key initiatives to enhance Elgin’s governance and quality of life:
✅ Historic Housing Disclosure – Ensuring transparency in home buying and selling within Elgin’s Historic Districts.
✅ Detailed P-Card Reports – Introducing more transparency by including detailed purchasing card reports in the council agenda.
✅ Funding for Lead Pipe Replacement – Advocated to reallocate $5 million from the council's discretionary fund to the Lead Pipe Replacement Program (2024 Budget | Public Health).
✅ Updated Responsible Bidders Ordinance – Strengthening fair and responsible contracting practices in Elgin.
✅ Commission Attendance Reports – Launched an easy-to-access public report, allowing residents to track commission member attendance (Transparency).
✅ Veteran Health Program – Championed the Health Mind, Health Body program, now available at the Elgin Rec Center to support veterans’ well-being.
✅ Reviving Lords Park Pool – Advocated for the return of this vital community resource.
✅ Delta 8/9 Ban – Leading efforts to ban Delta 8/9 within the city for public safety.
Anthony remains committed to building a stronger, healthier, and more transparent Elgin.
Anthony’s deep-rooted connection to Elgin and his extensive experience in public service make him uniquely qualified to serve on the Elgin City Council. A dedicated father and lifelong resident, he is passionate about shaping a stronger future for the community he calls home.
As Chairman of the Elgin Police & Fire Commission, Anthony played a key role in selecting the men and women who protect and serve our city. In his current role with Kane County, he collaborates with the County Board, manages agendas for the State’s Attorney’s Office, drafts RFP documents, and oversees staff—sharpening his expertise in government operations and policymaking.
A U.S. Marine Veteran, Anthony embodies the values of courage, integrity, and strength—principles that continue to guide his leadership. His background in local governance, military service, and community involvement equips him to make informed, impactful decisions that resonate with the people of Elgin.
Anthony is ready to lead Elgin forward with transparency, dedication, and a deep commitment to its residents.
